It is recommended that oxygen cylinders for dental practices hold a minimum of 460 litres of oxygen. That is in line with GDC guidelines and Resuscitation Council guidelines. A 2.7 litre cylinder is recommended for dental practices because it holds 579 litres of oxygen, which gives the customers in excess of the minimum requirements.
